Snow Day for kids, Jan 18th
Jan 18, 2025 at the Science Mill in Johnson City, TX.
Every year the Science Mill goes all out and makes 28 tons of real snow for kids (and us adults) to play in. The day, called Frosty Fun Fest, is packed full:
Mini Sled Derby
Snowball Slingshot
Liquid nitrogen
Snow Pit
08
Make a campfire
Roast marshmallows over a crackling fire. Put your phone away and simply enjoy the stars and a glass of wine or a beer under a blanket. Winter is campfire season, and Talula Mesa has plenty of fire pits for glamping guests to use. After all, glamping and campfires go hand-in-hand. If campfires aren't your thing, cozy up with blankets in a hammock next to the propane indoor fireplace in your glamping tent.
