Spring Glamping Activity Guide
2025, Texas Hill Country, Austin and Marble Falls Area | spring activities
Spring is one of the best times for glamping in Texas, and we've got plenty of activities to make spring glamping fun. February kicks off wildflower season in the hill country, and our property comes with bluebonnets. It's also hot tub glamping season. Spring glamping is the perfect time for outdoor activities like strawberry picking, tulip picking, goats, flower fields, wineries, hiking, kayaking, hang gliding, paragliding, mountain biking, fishing, golfing, safari animals, campfires, and more.
Below are our top picks of spring activities near Marble Falls and Lago Vista, TX to compliment your glamping stay at Talula Mesa Glamping Resort.

Additional seasonal guides: summer, fall, winter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas holiday season. We've also written guidance on wildflower glamping kid-friendly activities, dog-friendly glamping, and Mother's Day weekend.

01
Pick Tulips & Strawberries, Feed Goats, and more at Sweet Berry Farm
- 25 minutes away -
Sweet Berry Farm comes to life in the spring. Pick a bouquet of tulips or ranunculs to brighten up your glamping tent, feed the goats, pick strawberries. For kids, there are games, rides, and treats. According to their website, "Tulips typically make their appearance late February/early March with strawberries right behind at early - mid March, lasting through May." Ranunculus flowers typically bloom in April, and Sunflowers come late May into June. After that, the farm closes down until pumpkin season in the fall.
02
Marvel at the Bluebonnets & Wildflowers
From February to May or June, the hill country dazzles with wildflowers. Our property, including the fields with glamping tents are often covered in bluebonnets. Each year is different and unpredictable, but one thing is certain: the hill country will be gorgeous whenever you come. Read more about glamping with wildflowers. UPDATE: April 1: Sadly, it's the worst year for bluebonnets this Texan has ever seen. Wildflowers can be seen along the roads and in patches, but not like most years.
