After your intimate ceremony, host a dinner or reception onsite, allowing you to relax and truly celebrate with your closest friends and family. Weddings here are intimate affairs where couples take the time to talk, eat, dance, and maybe even stargaze with their loved ones. At night, you'll retire to your gorgeous, romantic glamping tent and wake up to sweeping views over the hill country. Soak in your private hot tub. Go for a little hike, relax on your private porch, head down to the lake, or energize yourselves by a campfire. Visit a nearby winery or head into Marble Falls. We have lots of guides outlining the things to do here.
Choose one of several picture-perfect spots for your vows:
On the edge of the bluff overlooking Lake Travis
In a park-like grove of live oak trees
In a field of bluebonnets
In front of your picturesque glamping tent
In front of our towering waterfall fountain
On the 2,000' long terraced hillside overlooking the hill country
In front of a wall of fig vines, next to a natural spring
Talula Mesa Glamping Resort invites couples and up to 30 guests to host their ceremony with a small number of vendors (officiant, photographer(s), videographer(s), caterer, hair/makeup) onsite. Plenty of parking is available, so don't worry about that. Couples are welcome to host their reception onsite (up to 30 guests), outdoors, with food truck or a catered meal. We can provide a list of superb, preferred vendors. For more details about a glamping wedding at Talula Mesa, visit our wedding page.
We have four glamping tents in total, spread out over 15 acres, which means that some of your family and friends can stay onsite with you. We offer three Grand-sized tents (the Grand Aztec, Grand Tesoro, and Grand Arrow tents), all with a stunning glass wall overlooking the hill country, and the mini Aztec tent, which also overlooks the hill country. Our tents were designed with privacy top of mind, but not spaced so far apart that you lose the community atmosphere. We built a communal fire pit in the middle of all of the tents for folks to gather, along with grills, a patio, and porch swing. Then when it's time to retire, you'll find all the privacy you need at your glamping tent. Additional rental cabins are available nearby. Kids are welcome, along with your fur babies. Glamping with dogs is encouraged at your glamping wedding.

We hope you found this information helpful. We want to use our blog to increase awareness and support for locally-owned glamping sites, lodging, businesses, and wedding venues. Locally-owned businesses tend to provide a higher level of expertise, service and dedication. They also keep money IN our communities, whereas corporate owned or investor owned businesses suck money OUT of our communities. As you plan your wedding we hope you will consider a locally-owned wedding venue and lodging near Austin or in the Texas hill country like ours. You can find locally-owned wedding venues on this wedding venue map. Below is a shout out to fellow locally-owned wedding venues around the country. If you know of locally-owned businesses near Austin, Marble Falls, or anywhere in the Texas hill country, please tell us about them in the comments so that we can support them, too!
