Great news! Talula Mesa Glamping Resort near Marble Falls, Texas, just an hour from Austin, now has private hot tubs with each glamping tent. Guests have been asking for private hot tubs, and we are so happy to announce the recent addition of hot tubs at each Grand-sized glamping tent. The Mini Aztec tent, our small, minimalist Scandinavian-style tent does not have a hot tub, but it’s still adorable, cozy, and chic.
Where are the glamping hot tubs located?
Each hot tub has been strategically and carefully placed to maximize privacy and provide guests glorious views over the expansive bluff that faces Lake Travis and the wide-open Texas hill country. The hot tubs are placed on the back sides of our three Grand-sized tent: The Grand Aztec, Grand Arrow, and Grand Tesoro tents.
Get cozy in one of the plush fleece robes we provide to glamping guests. The robe perfect for staving off the cold as you duck out the secret door in the giant glass wall of your “tent” and plunge into the steamy water. Soak under the stars as you watch the lights come up over the hill country.
Of course, we just had to try out the hot tubs to ensure everything was perfect for our glamping guests, and we must say… soaking in the chilly winter air is absolutely sublime. Listening to the sounds of nature and coyotes off in the distant hills was a surreal experience that I hope I never forget. Staring up at the moon through a little steam and lots of live oak trees is how I want every hot tub soak to be for the rest of my life. Talula Mesa Glamping captures a little slice of hill slice of hill country heaven, made even better with steamy hot tubs.
How clean are glamping hot tubs?
Rest assured that meticulous cleaning standards are very important to us. We drain and refill the hot tubs regularly, and, in addition to chlorine, our hot tubs are sanitized with ozone and UV technology between guests, making ours cleaner than any other hot tubs we’ve seen.
Is winter in Texas too cold for glamping?
Glamping in Texas during the winter is surprisingly wonderful. If you’ve spent much time in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, or anywhere in central Texas, you know that winter here oscillates between cold and warm. On cold days, our glamping guests stay cozy indoors with electric blankets for perfect sleep, indoor propane fireplaces, and lots of fluffy, soft bedding. For venturing out in the cold, we provide fuzzy fleece robes, and a dip in your private tub with certainly warm up on even the cold days.
Most winter days in the Texas hill country are warm enough to enjoy hiking, wineries, breweries, and boutique shopping in nearby Marble Falls, Texas. Adventurous glampers might want to check out Hidden Falls Adventure Park nearby for ATV and UTV rentals or paragliding, helicopter tours, or mountain biking in the hill country. Whatever your fancy, coming back to a luxurious glamping tent to relax in your hammock, hot tub, or by a campfire is a perfect way to relax as your day comes to a close.
