It’s almost like being in Talum, but in glamping tent in the hill country. Each tent is handmade, given a 15-foot special hand-painted emblem by the owner, not a kit or off-the-shelf pod. 2. Unrivaled Views Over the Hill Country
Talula Mesa is nestled high on a hill (a mesa) with stunning views over Lake Travis and the hill country. Each tent faces a large expanse. From most points on the property, views extend for twenty miles across Lake Travis over Spicewood into Dripping Springs.
3. Privacy
While some glamping resorts pack tents or pods next to each other, Talula Mesa Glamping Resort left plenty of room between each one, generally around 100 feet from tent to tent. That means guests get a lot more privacy than you’ll find elsewhere. Talk about a private getaway.
4. Lake Access and Lake Views
Lake Travis, aka the Lower Colorado River, can be accessed just two minutes down the road at Turkey Bend Recreation Area. Guests are invited to borrow our paddleboards and kayaks, free of charge, and head to the lake any time you’d like. There are several great glamping spots in Texas, but few that overlook the lake.
